A Story - "Strawberry's Birthday" by Emily

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Strawberry.  She had a little kitty, her name was Peach.  And then, Strawberry's friend came.  It was Strawberry's birthday.  They were getting the house ready for the party.  They decorated the kitchen, they decorated the table, they decorated the kitty, they decorated the living room, they decorated the tv, they decorated the couch... and they decorated her room... and they decorated Peach's room, and Custard's room (that's the dog).  They put flowers and party strings.  They did party favors and they made a birthday cake!  The birthday cake had a white snow lady on top of it (that was a toy) and then they put frosting on it.  They turned off the lights and everybody hid.  Then Strawberry came in, she didn't know why the lights were off, she thought she was all alone.  She thought all of her friends forgot her birthday.  And then her friends came out and turned on the lights and blew the party stuff and threw balloons!  And Strawberry was so surprised, she couldn't think or act!  And then, they all had 5 pieces of cake! 

And they lived happily ever after!
